ACTIVITIES FROM LINDLEY
Raft Building
Putting team work to the test
A superb team activity. Everyone has a chance to input ideas, discuss design criteria and then put what they have built to the test.
At every stage safety is paramount. The instructor will undertake a pre-launch safety inspection, helmets and buoyancy aids are worn and the instructor will be close at hand. Barrels, poles and ropes are the basic resources available.
Assuming the raft floats, the new craft can be used by the team to undertake a number of additional challenges and possibly even race against another team
Why? A fun team challenge, learning new skills such as knot tying resulting in a sense of achievement when the raft floats.
Where? Primarily on site
How long? Can be a half-day session or less when combined with Archery or Zip Wire
