Early Careers & Apprenticeships

Some of the most powerful learning happens when people have the opportunity to put ideas into practice. Lindley Educational Trust combines experiential learning, authentic challenge and skilled facilitation to create development programmes that make a lasting difference. Whether we’re developing apprentices, bringing academic theory to life or helping an established team tackle a business challenge, our approach is purposeful: experience, reflect, learn and apply.

Connecting Experience with Apprenticeship Learning

A key strength of our approach is our ability to map programmes against apprenticeship Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs).

Working with employers and training providers, we create experiences that reinforce workplace and classroom learning. Structured reflection then helps apprentices connect what happened during the activity with their apprenticeship standard and their role at work.

Programmes can also contribute towards Off-the-Job (OTJ) training, providing structured learning that develops relevant skills and professional behaviours.

  • Apprentice and graduate induction
  • KSB and professional behaviour development
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Confidence and workplace resilience
  • Leadership and supervision
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
  • Organisational values and culture
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Future leadership development

Development That Goes Beyond the Activity

Whether we’re working with an apprentice beginning their career, a university student applying theory or an experienced leadership team, the principle is the same:

The activity is the catalyst. The learning comes from what people experience, understand and do differently afterwards.

Talk to us about the people you’re developing and the outcomes you want to achieve, and we’ll create a programme around them.
